Privacy policy
In short: the pm-os website has no accounts, forms, analytics or content from third-party servers. Below is exactly what is still processed, and why.

01Who is the controller

02What this website does and does not do
The website is a static presentation. It has no login, forms or comments. It uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and loads no fonts, scripts or images from third-party servers; everything is hosted on the site itself.
As a result, the website itself collects no personal data about visitors. The processing that does take place is described below.
03What data is processed and why
Server technical logs. When a page loads, the server hosting the website records, like any website, technical details of the request: IP address, time, requested address and browser type. They serve to keep the website running and secure. They are not used for tracking visitors or for marketing, and I do not link them to any person. How long they are kept is set by the hosting provider.
Email communication. If you write to me, I process the data you give me (typically your name, email address and the content of your message) to answer your enquiry and to start any collaboration. I keep it only as long as that purpose requires.
Language and appearance choice. If you switch the language or the light or dark mode, your browser remembers that choice on your device. It is not sent to me, so it is not data I process. Details are on the Cookies and storage page.
04Who receives data
I do not pass data to third parties for their own purposes. Server technical logs are processed by the hosting and network infrastructure provider on which the website runs, as my supplier.
The For AI menu in the page header offers to open the page in Claude or ChatGPT. This only happens after you click. The link passes just this page’s address into a new tab as the prompt, and from that point the service’s own terms apply. “Copy page as Markdown” only places the page text on your clipboard; nothing is sent.
05Legal bases
I process technical logs on the basis of my legitimate interest in running the website securely and reliably. I process email communication to handle your enquiry and, where you show interest, to start a collaboration.
06Your rights
You have the right to request access to your personal data, its correction or erasure, restriction of processing, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to info@michalhartman.com. If you believe your data is not handled properly, you can contact the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz).
07Changes
I will update this page if the way data is handled changes, before the change takes effect. The date of the last update is shown at the top.
